FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA NEEDS AMNESTY AND NOT BOKO HARAM (PART TWO)

"When we take responsibility, we admit we are the ones responsible for the choices we make. We, not other people or events, are responsible for the way we think, feel, act or fail to act when required. It is our life, and we are in charge of it. We are free to make nonsense or the best out of it. Although we might not be responsible for all that happens to us, but we are responsible for how we think, feel and act when they happened to us."

Considering the consequences of terrorist acts in our society if not totally discouraged, on the issue of Boko Haram and its negative influence like the militants on the upcoming generations, we need to re-assess the dialogue so far between government and all the Boko Haram sects. What were the outcome of the various discussions and investigations? How does the recommendation from the facts finding dictate the step for amnesty? What are the implication of pardon for the terrorists? Will there be proper counselling and rehabilitation for them? Is there no need for legal justification for pardoning criminals in Nigeria? How will crime and terrorism be totally discouraged among the youths and politicians? How do we restore peace and focus our abundant resources on development and invention of a better life for all? How do we PROGRESS NOW?

A good government carry its citizens along in running affairs of government in order to be on top of all situations and crises. It is the responsibility of government to ensure that the welfare of the citizens and visitors are guaranteed. Not foreigners or visitors to come and tell what to do or not to do. It is the responsibility of the government to provide secured atmosphere for comfortable life. Without security, there can be no peace. Without justice there can be no progress. A corrupt government cannot succeed in this kind of difficult situation if care is not taken - it will definitely fail. It is bad when government pamper and protect criminals from punishment or back them against public interest. It is wrong and a crime for government to encourage crime and terrorism.

Government should not be granting amnesty to terrorists without considering due process. Did America grant Mutalab amnesty for suicide bombing? Therefore, we should not be so much concerned about the opinion of foreigners that encourage meaningless pardon for criminals. Will granting of amnesty make Nigeria safer and better? We have a choice as people, to be most concerned about our survival and the choice to run our own lives. We don't need to be confused by eye service that do us no good. Confusion and crises have been used to exploit and rob our resources for the development of other places other than Nigeria. The rest of the world should support Nigeria to punish offenders and criminals, and stop encouraging meaningless pardon for criminals.

Government must change its nonchalant attitude and poor approach towards handling terrorism in Nigeria. It must be responsive and objective in all its dealing on the matter across the nation. Government should command respect and control on all affairs of the nation. The Federal Government must stop all its corruption and insensitivity to the suffering of its people and unnecessary loss of innocent lives. Personalities in government should be good role models for our youths especially, and not criminals and sadists who arm our youths for selfish political and economic gain in the affairs of governance.

To emphasize on a point of correction, don't force amnesty on Boko Haram members! Since the sect have rejected amnesty, what else do they want? Why is it that the amnesty proposed to them by the Federal Government for killing and destruction in the north should be given to the Federal Government? Why is it that it is the government that deserves pardon?

Respond!!??
