The Office of the Commander-in-chief of Armed Forces is not for decoration of status. It is for defending and protecting Nigeria and Nigerians as a whole. It complements the Office of the Presidency. Antagonists against President Goodluck Jonathan using the power is a waste of time. Emergency rule is already ongoing, and the President is in control. It is his responsibility to also deploy more helpful strategies to facilitate civil-military cooperation in the affected areas. The general welfare of our citizens and foreigners should be guaranteed if our economy must progress.
Note today that sports can facilitate civil-military cooperation in Yobe, Borno and Adamawa states. Therefore, it is worsening matters when government neglect or dishonor our heroes. This is counter-productive to the success of fighting terrorism all over Nigeria.
Government attention to solving the menace of terrorism and other associated wrongful acts in Nigeria must focus on meeting the need of the law abiding citizens and foreigners in the affected areas, and not just pampering militants and Boko Haram. - Discourage crime, terrorism and youths involving in wrongful acts
Get inspired... get empowered... embrace sports and shun terrorism now. Nigeria can cooperate with more international bodies and agencies to succeed against all manner of terrorism, and encourage local and foreign investment in sports.
